As part of Chicago Artists Month, more than 80 galleries, studios and other spaces are participating in Pilsen Open Studios. This annual art walk will take place Oct. 20 – 21, with an opening reception this Friday. I’ve been wanting to check out the galleries in Pilsen for a long time, so I’ll definitely be taking a trip out there this weekend. Here’s a helpful map of participating venues.

On Saturday, there will also be a very cool Dia de los Muertos workshop at Pros Art Studio, complete with sugar skull face painting, and a marigolds and papel picado workshop.
