I’ll say one thing – you never know what will happen at a monthly COLLABO music industry mixer event! That’s why you should always come out. I’ve been going for a while now, and I always manage to network with someone new, see some great performances and learn something from the panelists.

This time around, I got to be one of the panelists discussing social media marketing for musicians along with Jineea Butler from the Hip Hop Union. (An opportunity which – by the way – I got from attending COLLABO in the first place & networking with Mary Datcher & others.)

And while being on the panel was exciting enough, I also got a sneak peek at Jon Blu’s next video, which the AAU team was filming at the venue right before COLLABO kicked off.

And THEN – Rev. Jesse Jackson dropped in to say a few inspiring words.
