I wasn’t exactly sure how I felt about the Ryan Gosling movie, Drive. As I was watching it, I thought to myself, “This is kind of weird. There’s minimal dialogue and a lot of awkward silences where the actors just look at each other.” Yet, after watching it, I downloaded a couple tracks from the soundtrack and the vibe of the movie stuck with me. Not to mention reading how actor Peter Dinklage rides around pretending he’s Gosling from the movie in Rolling Stone. Looking back, the movie was pretty bad-ass.

So, with that said, here are two tracks from Drive that really stuck with me – “Nightcall” by Kavinsky and “Real Hero” by College & Electric Youth.

By the way, in Googling these tracks, I noticed Lakeshore Records released the Drive soundtrack and several other interesting soundtracks. Check them out.
