My MTV Europe playlist

Since settling down in Poland for a bit during my Europe adventure, I’ve been taking advantage of my grandma’s access to MTV Polska and MTV Hits (UK).

Here are some of the top hits in Poland & Europe that have been on repeat everywhere:

1. “We No Speak Americano” Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP
Does a catchier song exist? It’s just so happy and carefree sounding. And I love watching the video.

2. “Billionaire” Travis McCoy
Yes, this song is a little older, but I love it! Great summer jam.

3. “Love the Way You Lie” Eminem f/Rihanna
I’m sure this is a big hit in the U.S. too, but it’s at the top of the charts here and I still get goosebumps when I hear it. I’m not the biggest Megan Fox fan in the world, but the video does keep your attention.

4. “Parachute” Cheryl Cole
I really like this song – and the video (must learn how to tango). I think the video features one of the dancers from Dancing with the Stars?

5. “Prayin” Plan B
I love this Plan B guy. His song “She Said” is pretty good, too. He has that oldies sound like Amy Winehouse kind of – wonder if they work with the same producer?

6. “Club is Alive” JLS
This boy band apparently won the UK’s X Factor a few years back, and this song is one that gets stuck in your head, whether you like it or not. It samples The Sound of Music of all things.

7. “Commander” Kelly Rowland
Kelly and her boy David Guetta are cranking out the club songs.

8. “Stereo Love” Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina
A really summery, Euro-ey song – as is evidenced by the video.

9. “Club Can’t Handle Me” Flo Rida
Is there anyone David Guetta hasn’t worked with in the past couple months? I’m not a huge Flo Rida fan, but this song is definitely catchy. Is that Brandy singing back-up vocals?

10. “Missing You” The Saturdays
This is another song that annoyingly gets stuck in your head. So instead I’ll share the video for this girl group’s other song, “Ego,” which I like better.

Some of these songs are getting a little out-dated already, so look out for an updated list soon!
