Chicago Farmer’s Markets looking for performers

The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events is seeking musicians or other performers for the 2011 Chicago Farmers’ Markets. These markets run from May through October in neighborhoods throughout the city.

This year, musicians and other family-friendly performers are invited to submit to take the stage at the markets throughout the summer. While these are unpaid opportunities, they offer great exposure to different audiences throughout Chicago’s neighborhoods.

Check out more information about this opportunity and others on the Chicago Artists Resource website.
