When Saved by the Max tickets went on sale, it was a frenzy of quick-clicking at my office to try and snag some. Openings got booked up by the second so I just grabbed what I could…which ended up being a Monday night at 9 pm.

Pro tip for you: do NOT go next door to Piece and get a pre-meal snack. That’s what I did, and as a result I was super full as I tried to force yet more food in my belly.

But the real appeal of Saved by the Max is just being in The Max! It’s truly an immersive experience – from the neon signs to the Bayside Tigers decals to the lockers that you have to try and stuff yourself into.

Good news is the restaurant will now stay in Chicago until May 2017, so get your tickets while you can!
