I first heard of Banks earlier this year and I instantly got hooked on her sound. It’s exactly the kind of ethereal r&b I love. The first song I heard was “Waiting Game” and the time her words, “What if the way we started made it something cursed from the start,” spoke to me. Then when I heard “Change” I knew I’d be a fan.

So I scooped up tickets to see her at Metro months ago. Although the performance started a little shaky and you can tell she’s a new, young performer, it was a good show. She definitely looks amazing on stage, rocking the all black look in a sleek way.
