This year, our Compass to Care Associate Board decided to focus our efforts on one big fundraiser instead of several smaller ones. As a result, we put together a Gold Ribbon Gala during September, which is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We partnered with Mars Gallery to host the event, and I absolutely adore that space. Our small but mighty team of eight board members managed to put together a wonderful, memorable event that I’m incredibly proud of!

We ended up raising nearly $8,000 for Compass to Care, which is truly meaningful since an average trip for a child traveling for cancer treatment is $108.
